Between Ron & Gary, they have over 50 years experience!

Ron Bittaker - Owner/Trainer

Ron has over 17 years experience in dog training, and is a certified police K-9 instructor for the state of Florida.  His training includes both civilian and working dogs.   The training with working dogs stems from a career with Police K-9's, which is still a daily and rewarding way of life.  

Ron works on the basic obedience along with behavior and problem solving for your pet.   

Gary Swart - Trainer

Gary joined the St Petersburg Police Dept in 1966.  In 1972 he began his career in the K9 unit. In 1978 he became the Head K9 Trainer.  Gary is a State of Florida Certified Trainer and Evaluator of K9 Teams, with a total of 34 years training experience under his belt.

We are privileged to have Gary on staff as a trainer to meet your training needs! 

Our training philosophy is based on Praise, Repetition,  and Correction.    Food rewards are not the norm here for training,  however food rewards can and are used for certain behavior and training issues.  We look forward to helping you with all your pet needs.  Stop by or call for more information!
